Dance Night with Coastline Swing Band

Put on your dancing shoes and join us at The United Theatre on Friday, September 22nd from 7:00-10:00 PM for a night of swing dance lessons (7-8) and standard swing and dance tunes from the Coastline Swing Band (8-10). The Coastline Swing Band has 18 swinigin' musicians, including a vocalist, five saxes, eight brass and four rhythm, and cover the big band repertory, from the nostalgic hits of the 40s and 50s, to some very up-to-date funk and rock. Their library includes classics made famous by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Charlie Barnett, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Stan Kenton as well as more modern pieces by Sammy Nestico, Tom Kubis, Gordon Goodwin, Bill Potts, Dave Wolpe Bill Holman and others. Tickets are $10 per person.
